Trosglwyddo troseddol HIV

Mewn nifer o wledydd, ystyrir heintio rhywun gyda HIV naill ai'n fwriadol neu'n anystyriol yn drosedd. Gellir cyhuddo pobl sydd yn gwneud hyn gyda trosglwyddo troseddol o HIV, llofruddiaeth, dynladdiad, ymgais i lofruddio, neu ymosodiad. Mae gan rhai ardaloedd cyfreithiol cyfreithiau sy'n ymdrin yn benodol â throsglwyddo HIV megis yr Unol Daleithiau, tra bod gwledydd eraill (megis y Deyrnas Unedig, yn cyhuddo pobl gan ddefnyddio cyfreithiau sy'n bodoli eisoes.
