Synopsis for "Phantoms, Part Six"
Superman wakes up in a cell on Krypton in the pas with his birth parents. Lara explains that Ro-Zan is jealous of Jor-El and convinced the Science Council to decree all innovation the purview of the state rather than individuals, allowing him to seize any scientists's inventions at will and prevent anyone else proving they are smarter than him. Superman thinks to himself that none of this matches the story he was taught, that Jor-El proudly presented the Phantom Zone to the Council as an alternative to Krypton's previous imprisonment method of cryogenic exile in space. Soldiers come to take them before the Science Council.
In the present day, at the X'rphoan Intergalactic Exposition, Super-Man and Superboy easily overpower the Khund strike force leader and tell him to take them to the leader of the fleet. They teleport onto the flagship and meet the leader: Overadmiral Khuarr. Kong tries to negotiate with Khuarr but he refuses to listen. As Khund leaders assume power by defeating their predecessors in battle, Conner challengers Khuarr to a fight for leadership of the fleet.
On Krypton in the past, the Els are pulled in front of a meeting of the Science Council. Ro-Zan tells them that the Council has decided not to charge Jor-El for hoarding his discoveries, but the Projector and Battery Bracelets will be seized. He also proposes using the Phantom Zone as a prison and Jor-El furiously objects, saying that subjecting people to an eternal existence as ghosts is inhuman. This surprises Clark as he had assumed that Jor-El had himself proposed using the Zone as a prison for all Krypton's criminals. Ro-Zan waves away Jor-El's objections, saying the decision stands. Lara yells at him, calling him an egotist and an idiot who is sizezing Jor-El's work out of envy for his genius and that Lara married Jor-El rather than him. After a moment of silent fury and humiliation. Ro-Zan orders the guards to escort the three of them out of the building. When they leave, Jor-El and Lara reveal that Lara's tirade was a distraction to allow Jor-El to steal the Battery Bracelets.
In the Phantom Zone, Aethyr declares that the Phantom Zoners have proven themselves beyond redemption. He begins to create a whole planet in the Zone, which will serve as an eternal hellscape for the prisoners.
Back on Krypton, Jor-El takes Superman to Zor-El's house, hoping he may be able to find a way to charge the battery bracelets. Superman also meets a teenaged Kara, who is revealed to be a bratty troublemaker when she had always told him she was a well-behaved child. Clark asks Jor-El how someone would be able to create solid mater in the Zone and make it habitable, but Jor-El tells him such a thing would be impossible: creating matter requires conversion of energy, and the energy needed to generate a landmass inside the Zone would consume a star.
On Earth in the present, Jimmy Olsen runs into Lois Lane's office and tells her that Steelworks have just reported climate change is reversing and the Earth is rapidly cooling. They look outside and see the sun disappearing as Aethyr drains its energy.

Synopsis for "Supergirl in Who Are You"
Supergirl has been away from Earth for long enough that people have started to notice. Power Girl asks Superman what she is doing in space but Superman replies he can't tell her anything, except that Supergirl was the only person who could do it.
In deep space, Supergirl, the bailiff robot and Prisoner 8912 make their way to a hanger on board the prison ship. They are confronted by the aliens but Prisoner 8912 sends out waves of fear that overwhelm them. Supergirl tries to take the prisoner onto a shuttle, but they try to induce fear on her as well. It doesn't work and so Prisoner 8912 slips out of their robes in an attempt to get away. Kara grabs them and forces them onto the shuttle. They escape the prison ship, but as they are flying away the bailiff tells Supergirl that it was able to access Prisoner 8912's court records and saw that they were charged as "the destroyer of worlds".
