Anissa Pierce, aka Thunder, is one of Black Lightning's two daughters. She is a member of the Outsiders and is currently dating her teammate Grace Choi.

Powers
- Density Control: Anissa can alter the mass and density of her body.[1]
- Invulnerability: Anissa can increase her body's resistance to damage to the point where she can use her body to absorb attacks from the likes of Mammoth without any damage.[2]
- Energy Resistance: Anissa can shrug off powerful energy blasts without even flinching.[1]
- Superhuman Strength
- Energy Projection: Anissa can cause powerful shockwaves by stomping the ground.[1]
- Super-Leaping
- Invulnerability: Anissa can increase her body's resistance to damage to the point where she can use her body to absorb attacks from the likes of Mammoth without any damage.[2]
Abilities
- Medical Science: Anissa is a medical school graduate and can use her skills in situations that require first aid.[1]
- Hand-to-Hand Combat (Advanced): Anissa has received training from Nightwing.[1]
Notes
- Thunder was created by Judd Winick and Tom Raney, first appearing in Outsiders (Volume 3) #1. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Thunder first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Black Lightning: Cold Dead Hands #2 by Tony Isabella and Clayton Henry.
