Arrowverse: Earth-X

Reality names were reused several times. See also Earth-X, Earth-10, Earth 10.

Earth-X is a reality where the Nazis conquered Earth after winning World War II. It is so evil it doesn't have a designated number, but is labeled "X".

History

According to Harrison Wells, Earth-X is technically the 53rd Earth in the "local" Multiverse but has never been given an official numerical designation as the atrocities committed on this Earth are so horrific that the other Earth's in the Multiverse would rather pretend that this world didn't exist.

Nazi Germany developed the Atomic Bomb before the Allies and the United States of America did. As a result, Germany used their newfound weapon of mass destruction during World War II to nuke New York City, London, Paris and Moscow which resulted in the Allied Forces' defeat thus ending World War II with Nazi Germany's victory.[3]

Invasion of Earth-1

The Crisis

During the Crisis of 2019, Earth-X was destroyed by an anti-matter wave along with the rest of the multiverse with no inhabitant surviving. After the multiverse was rebooted by the Paragons and the Spectre, numerous Earths were merged to create Earth-Prime with a new integrated timeline. While Earth-X's timeline was not dominant in this new universe, some aspects survived, such as the Nazi's invasion being altered to time-traveling clones, and where Ray Terrill and the Freedom Fighters emerged as vigilantes in 2016. These people only had memories of their Earth-Prime lives.

Trivia

  • This is the first reality shown that contains alternate versions of characters from both Earth-1 and Earth-38.
  • While explaining the Multiverse concept to the Superfriends on Earth-38, Barry Allen foreshadowed the existence of Earth-X as he mentioned that it could exist an Earth where the Nazis won World War II.[4]
