Brian Bolland (b. March 26, 1951) is a writer.
Professional History
Brian Bolland is a British comic book creator. He began his career in 1977 working for IPC Magazines Ltd on the title 2000 A.D. When he moved to America, he was hired by DC Comics to work on the title Green Lantern. He is best known for his works on Animal Man and Wonder Woman. He is also the main artist in the highly praised graphic novel Batman: The Killing Joke.
Most recently he has been working for Rebellion and has also contributed for some variant covers including the Batman and Robin #25 Variant and Royals: Masters of Wat Variant.
Personal History
Bolland was raised in Lincolnshire, England. He spent five years at art school, starting in 1969, learning graphic design and Art history. He moved to America in the early 80's.
In 1981 Bolland married Rachel Birkett and the two of them have a son named Harry.
