Elasti-Girl is the actress and former Olympic swimmer Rita Farr. She is a founding member of the Doom Patrol. Also known as Elasti-Woman, Farr gained her elasticity when exposed to volcanic gas on a film shoot. She eventually married her teammate Mento and they adopted Beast Boy.
Elasti-Girl was created by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney, and Bruno Premiani, first appearing in My Greatest Adventure #80 (1963).
