Samaritan is a name used by several characters in the DC Universe.
The original was Luke Hermes, a murderer who repented when he gained powers during Bloodlines. His brother was Cardinal Sin, a priest who turned evil when given the same powers. The most well known Samaritan is Bad Samaritan, an enemy to the Outsiders and a manipulative government agent who has also worked with Checkmate.
