Trivia

  • Green Flame: "The Spy Who Blew Me Up":
    • As a child on the beach, Beatriz has the bottom of the bikini pulled by her dog in a Coppertone girl-like pose.
    • In the club, Beatriz is singing some verses of Fame, from Irene Cara.
    • A 7 Up logo can be seen on a Rio de Janeiro beach stall in the first page of this story, but 7 UP was not available in Brazil in 1988 (the year of publication of this issue), only between 1995 and 1997.[1]
    • On page 2, a man calls Beatriz a "chiquita" (Spanish for "petite"). Since Brazil doesn't actually speak Spanish, but Portuguese, then the right term may be "pequena".
    • On page 4, on the Espionage Network of Brazil door "Espiaos Nacionales de Brasil" is written, which is incorrect in both Spanish and Portuguese; the correct term in Portuguese is "Espiões Nacionais do Brasil". At that time, the actual espionage service in Brazil would be SNI (Serviço Nacional de Informações), which was then replaced by ABIN.
