Synopsis for "Sons of Dawn, Part I: World's Lost and Found"
At Liberty Island, Arn breaks into the secret laboratory of Project M to seek answers for Dinosaur Island. Professor Mazursky is initially less keen to help Arn due to his team for costing him a live tyrannosaurus rex, but eventually relents to hear from Arn. Arn shows Mazursky a photograph of what supposed to be his father, Hugo Danner, standing over a dead dinosaur taken by a Nazi spy from Rioguay. Mazursky is less interested in helping Arn, but instead shows him to his assistant Georgina Challenger to help him. Georgina has her suspicions of where the photograph was taken, but it is not on Dinosaur Island.
Georgina explains to Arn that she is the granddaughter of English anthropologist Professor Edward Challenger who discovered in Rioguay a hidden plateau, dubbed Maple White Land, where it was inhabited by living dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures from every known geological age. The plateau was also inhabited by a human tribe, the Accalas, and fierce ape-men in which these two groups waged constant war against each other. Challenger's expedition helped lead the Accalas in defeating the ape-men before returning to England in 1912 while bringing along a live pterodactyl to prove the truth of Maple White Land's existence. The captured pterodactyl escaped and flew away, heading westward over the Atlantic Ocean, in a doomed instinctive attempt to return to its birthplace. Challenger did not form a return expedition to Maple White Land after Lord John Roxton died. As a result, Maple White Land was relegated to the realm of myth and legend.
Arn gladly accepts Georgina's help to find Maple White Land where he will find Hugo Danner. Using Professor Challenger's maps, Arn and Georgina reached Maple White Land in which the former uses his enhanced body to leap himself and Georgina to the summit.
That night, the couple decided to make camp as Arn had been left exhausted. However, they are ambushed by a herd of theropod dinosaurs. Just then a group of Accala men and a woman burst into the clearing and effortlessly dispatched the dinosaurs, in which some subdued the creatures through their bare hands. Despite saving Arn and Georgina, the Accalas are distrustful of the intruders. Arn likewise is not pleased with the Accalas' silence and demands them to talk. Before things could get more violent, a white man appears and advises Arn not to antagonize the Accalas before introducing himself as Hugo Danner.
