"As Goof Would Have It" is the fifty-third episode of the first season of Goof Troop.

Synopsis

Pete tricks a diet food company by using a picture of Goofy to display himself. Will he pull it off? Maybe... maybe not.

Trivia

• The title is a play on either "As luck would have it" or "As fate would have it."
• This is the only Goof Troop episode to have the sound editing done by Monterey Post Production (later called DigiPost TV), known for their work on many Warner Bros. shows such as Tiny Toon Adventures, Batman: the Animated Series, Animaniacs, certain Looney Tunes projects, various Justice League projects, and more. As a result, some sound effects from the Looney Tunes cartoons can be heard in this episode alongside the usual Disney cartoon sound effects.
• This marks one of the few times we see a thin Pete in any of his appearances.
