"Date with Destiny" is the fourteenth episode of the first season of Goof Troop.
Synopsis
When Max says Goofy's getting married (to avoid an awkward moment at school), Peg sends Pete out to find Goofy's ideal match. But when Pete can't find one, he sets up Goofy with an unsuspecting maintenance woman.
Plot
After watching a monster truck race, Goofy helps his son write a report about it. But when morning comes they are exhausted. Max gets ready for school with Waffles on his head, falls into his cereal bowl at breakfast and then Goofy makes him an egg for lunch.
Max is too tired to pay attention in class, so P.J. tries to get his attention. At lunchtime, Max's teacher slips on the egg from his bag and identifies his hat as a cereal bowl. He takes him to the principle Miss Pennypacker who is concerned about Max and how his dad raises him alone, until Max makes up a lie about that his Dad is getting married.
In their treehouse, P.J. comments that Max does indeed need a mom, when Pistol overhears and tells Pete about it
