John Burke Krasinski is an American actor, voice actor, director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his television role as Jim Halpert in the NBC sitcom The Office (2005–2013). He is also well-known for his various film roles, such as Sam Walsh in the 2006 musical-drama film Dreamgirls, Ben Murphy in the 2007 romantic comedy film License to Wed, Adam Carlson in Ken Kwapis' 2012 Universal Pictures drama film Big Miracle, and as the voice of Sir Lancelot in the 2007 DreamWorks film Shrek the Third and Clark Kent/Superman in the 2022 WAG animated film DC League of Super-Pets.
For Disney, he made a cameo in the 2011 musical comedy film The Muppets, voiced "Frightening" Frank McCay in the 2013 Disney/Pixar animated prequel Monsters University, narrated the 2017 Disneynature film Born in China, and made a voice cameo as a silhouetted gamer in the 2021 Fox film Free Guy. He also portrayed Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic in the 2022 Marvel film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

- He was also once considered for the role of Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, but Chris Pratt was cast instead.[2]
