"Minnie's Masquerade" is the eighty-fourth episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It premiered on April 11, 2011 and is the seventeenth episode in the third season.
Plot
Minnie plans a masquerade ball.
Synopsis
The episode begins in the Clubhouse with Mickey greeting the viewers and asking them if they like to play dress-up. Minnie and Pluto then arrive, and Minnie states that today, the gang will be having a masquerade ball, which is where they dress up in costumes and have a big show. Everyone will get a special prize ribbon at the show. Donald and Goofy then arrive, dressed up as a cowboy and a knight, respectively. Mickey notices that Goofy is missing something: his right shoe, meaning that he's not ready for the masquerade ball. Minnie reassures Goofy that they'll find the shoe and get ready for the masquerade ball in time. Mickey then goes to the Mousekedoer to pick up his mouseketools: a bubble-maker, shoeboxes, a baby elephant, and the mystery mouseketool.
Pete then arrives, dressed up as an astronaut. Mickey complements it, although Pete wants to be dressed up in the best costume of all so that he can win the Best Costume prize. Mickey tells him that they'll all get prizes. Pete then goes to change his costume. Meanwhile, Goofy still can't find his shoe, and Donald and Pluto decide to help. Minnie wants to be a princess for the masquerade ball and Mickey decides to help finish the costume. Minnie has a beautiful dress, but she needs a crown, just like Mickey, who decides to go as a prince. They then make their crowns in the art studio.
Minnie wants her crown to have triangles, but she mistakenly draws circles. She then draws the triangles the second time. Mickey wants his crown to have squares. At first, he mistakenly draws hearts, then he draws the squares. Next, they glue on some sparkles. For the crowns to dry in time for the party, Mickey and Minnie call Toodles for the baby elephant, who uses her trunk to blow-dry the crowns. As Mickey and Minnie put their crowns on, Donald, Goofy and Pluto return, still with no luck of finding Goofy's shoe. Mickey and Minnie decide to help along.
Goofy remembers getting dressed up for the party in the shoe garage. Once there, they get confronted by Pete, now dressed up as a chicken. He still thinks it isn't the best, so he has to change into a different costume, although Goofy tells him that they'll all get prizes. As Goofy opens a cabinet, lots of shoes fall. So, Mickey calls Toodles for the shoeboxes to put the shoes in. So far, Goofy puts the shoes in the shoeboxes that best match their shape. However, Goofy still can't find his shoe, so the search continues.
Goofy comes across muddy footprints that lead out of the clubhouse. The size matches the size of Goofy's shoe and his foot. Mickey and his friends follow the trail and come across Pete again, this time dressed up as a royal prince much like Mickey. He decides to change his costume again when he comes across Goofy's missing shoe, which must've gotten stuck in the mud when he walked through the mud puddle. So, they calls Toodles for the bubble-maker, which cleans up the shoe with its bubbles. Pete then places it on Goofy and it is a perfect fit. He then goes to find another costume for the masquerade ball while the others change into their respective costumes.
Once at the ball, Mickey confirms that everything is almost ready for the ball; however, when Donald pulls a lever to prepare the ball, he falls on the elephant, who blows the paper lanterns on a tree. Since Goofy can't reach them, Mickey and Donald call Toodles for the mystery mouseketool, which is Coco, who climbs into the tree and get the lanterns down. Afterwards, Goofy finishes decorating the lanterns in the purple, orange and pink pattern, and the masquerade ball is ready.
Moments later, Ludwig Von Drake welcomes everyone to the Clubhouse Costume Show. At first, he gets the prize for the most kooky costume. The masquerade ball then begins. Donald and Daisy receive prizes for the wildest costumes, Chip and Dale receive prizes for the nuttiest costumes (hats made out of nuts), Clarabelle Cow receives a prize for the most cheesy costume with holes (her famous Swiss cheese hat), Goofy receives a prize for the goofiest costume, Pluto receives a prize for the most out-of-this-world costume (alien), Mickey and Toodles receive a prize for the most royal costume and Mickey look-alike costume, respectively, and Pete receives a prize for having the most costumes in the world. There's still one ribbon left to hand out, that being to Princess Minnie, which is for the pinky-dinkiest pink costume. Minnie then hands out a prize to the viewers for having the most imaginative costumes. The ball then ends with everyone dancing to Minnie's minuet. The gang then heads to the Clubhouse and does the Hot Dog Dance. The episode ends with everyone leaving the clubhouse as it disappears and Mickey waving goodbye to the viewers.
