Pluto vs. the Watchdog

Pluto vs. the Watchdog is an animated short originally featured in episode #6 of Mickey Mouse Works. It was later featured in the House of Mouse episode "Donald and the Aracuan Bird".

Plot

Because of Pluto's ineptitude at being a watchdog (which is all due to Mickey's rather unconvincing burglar disguise when training Pluto to be a watchdog), Mickey gets a new watchdog named Muncey. Little does he realize the new dog is part of Pete's plot to rob Mickey's house.

• This is one of the few Mickey Mouse Works shorts to be produced in 480p via traditional cel animation instead of 720p via digital cel animation, meaning the episode's run on House of Mouse had to be cropped twice (first to 16:9, then back to 4:3) instead of the camera being repositioned.
