Robert James "Rob" Gibbs was an American animator, storyboard artist, and director for Pixar. He worked on the Cars Toons shorts Air Mater, Moon Mater, and Tokyo Mater. He was the younger brother of composer Richard Gibbs and the father of Mary Gibbs, who voiced Boo in Monsters, Inc.
On April 24, 2020, Gibbs died from complications of undisclosed causes at age 55.
