Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires is an upcoming Disney+ Original Movie, which is a sequel to the 2022 film Zombies 3 and the fourth installment of the Zombies franchise. It will be released in 2025.

Synopsis

The franchise's fourth installment follows Zed and Addison as they embark on a road trip the summer after their first year of college. As adventures unfold, they unexpectedly discover the warring worlds of Sunnyside and Shadyside and come into contact with two new groups of monsters.

Production

The film was confirmed on November 23, 2023 through a Production Weekly article, before being greenlit by Disney officially on February 10, 2024.

Filming

Filming began on March 25, 2024 in Auckland, New Zealand and ended on May 16, 2024, with Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly reprising their roles.

Trivia

• This is the fourth Disney Channel Original Movie to be a fourth installment to an existing franchise after Return to Halloweentown, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure, and Descendants: The Rise of Red.
• The movie takes place after the events of Zombies: The Re-Animated Series.
• Casting for the fourth installment begun in late November 2023. Casting roles such as Victor, Vargas, Vera, etc.
• Based off of the production year, it is likely that the movie will release in 2025 or later.
  • This will make it the first movie in the franchise to not release two years after the last movie.
• According to Julian Lerner, who will play Ray, the movie will likely release in the summer of 2025.
• According to Chandler Kinney, filming was supposed to begin in Spring 2023, then got pushed to Summer 2023, until the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes happened. Ultimately, filming began in Spring 2024.
