The Biplane is a vehicle of the Red Ribbon Army owned and used by Captain Yellow.
Overview
It is similar to a
real life biplanebut with the propeller in the tail instead in the frontal size and also has exhaust pipes on it sides. In the cabin it has a communicator to contact with the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters.
Usage
Captain Yellow uses it to go from a volcano to the Sacred Land of Korin to find a Dragon Ball while he uses the transmitter of the plane to question about the location of the Dragon Ball. When he arrives, he lands the biplane in a safe place. After all his troops were defeated by Bora, Yellow takes the biplane to get away and contact again with the headquarters. After being betrayed by Commander Red, Yellow goes back and descends the biplane to take Upa as a hostage and ascends again. When Yellow flies in circles while dealing with Bora, Goku arrives and gets on the biplane to take down Captain Yellow. The biplane, now without a pilot, plummets and explodes.[1]
After escaping from Hell, Captain Yellow somehow managed to either repair the biplane or at the very least acquire a similar model and uses it to cause chaos on Earth. But Pan destroys it along General Blue's Thunder Rocket, causing Captain Yellow's second death.[2]
