Jump Force, stylized as JUMP Force, is a 3D fighting video game developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows. The game was released in February 15, 2019.
Gameplay
Jump Force is a 1-v-1 fighting game where the player controls a team of three characters from a selection of various manga series featured in the Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine. Players control one character at a time while the others are used as support, with players able to switch between them during battle. Combat functions similarly to the previous Jump fighting game, J-Stars Victory Vs, with players moving around a 3D space and utilizing various combos and special moves to attack their opponents. The match ends when one team depletes the other's health bar.
Players can create their own avatar, a unique personalised character with customised clothing and accessories that can be earned through the gameplay.

Reception
Jump Force scored a 56/100 and a 4.4 User Score on Metacritic.[2] The game received mixed to negative reviews by critics and players as they shared how soulless and unpolished much of the game is. The lack of vibrancy, the long loading times and several missteps in the story mode also didn't help how little the game was being overlooked.
Trivia
- While not a direct sequel, Spike Chunloft previously worked on J-Stars Victory Vs, another fighting game featuring characters from different Shonen Jump titles.
- The game is being made as a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Weekly Shonen Jump.
- In a DLC Story Mode mission for Character Pack 1, Goku meets All Might and makes a remark about his strong aura, even though his powers are very different from Dragon Ball's usage of Ki. This could imply that everyone has some form of energy within them (depending on where it's from, it could be different, such as with Ki and chakra), or aura in this game is more of a conceptual phenomenon that literally is the strength of a character which can be sensed by those with the proper training.
