The Western Desert (西の砂漠, Western Desert) is an area far west of North City, and the location of one of the Destron Gas machines.[1]
Overview
In the OVA, the Destron Gas machine is protected by Jiku alone, who is defeated by Gohan.

In Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans, Gohan goes to the village to get a light and then to the pyramid near the center of the map, where he fights Jiku. Enemies encountered here are Kinkarn, Ponkarn, Arbee, Gure, and Skud.
