Fidelia

Fidelia is a young girl who lives in the town of Aeolus Vale.

Fidelia is a girl with long brown hair. She wears a red dress. In the present she also wears some ornate jewelry

Personality

Fidelia was very shy from the bullying she recieved. After her ordeal at the Sanctum of the Cirrus, she got confident.

Biography

Dragon Quest VII

Fidelia was one of the rare (at the time) children who was born without wings, making her unable to fly. Because of this, she is generally shy and there were some rumours that she wasn't even a Cirrus. This also made her a frequent _target of bullying by other local children.

During the party's initial visit to Aeolus Vale, many of the Cirrus suddenly lose consciousness with no apparent cause or remedy. Fidelia was spared and offers to take the sacred stone back to the Sanctum of the Cirrus in hopes that reseating the stone will revive her kin. As it happens, only a Cirrus can open the enchanted doors of the shrine, which Fidelia manages to do despite not having the wings of a Cirrus. Her efforts eventually lead the party into battle with a cumulus vex that caused the Cirrus' misfortune. It is vanquished, and normalcy is restored.

Believing Fidelia to be their saviour, the Cirrus promote her to near-godlike status over hundreds of years. A statue in her likeness is erected in what becomes Ventus Tower, her spirit residing in the statue.
