Teresa, along with Lazarel (who is later revealed to be her younger twin brother), is one of the two main characters in Dragon Quest Heroes II.
Appearance
She wears her light pink hair in a high ponytail with a black bow and she has red-ish/scarlet eyes. Her outfit consists of a cream-colored sleeveless tunic with a skirt, dark pink sleeves and stockings, leather gloves and platform-heeled leather boots, and a pinky-coral colored scarf around her neck. By default, she is a Warrior and she is often depicted wielding a sword and shield, but her fighting style will depend on her class and the weapon she has equipped.
Much like Aurora before her, Teresa's ponytail becomes undone and her hair flows freely when she is in High Tension mode.
Personality
Teresa is a military cadet with a level head and a cautious attitude, especially compared to her cousin, making her known as the "Scholarly Squire". In her younger years, she acted as a voice of reason and usually put a stop to Lazarel and Cesar's disputes and quarrels.
Biography
Unlike Lazarel, Teresa remained in Dunisia to study. Not much else is known about her, though both her and Lazarel are very smart when it comes to academics and training, as they are both at the top of their classes.
Skills
Teresa, unlike any other fighter with the exception of Lazarel, can change her Vocation, thusly becoming able to change the weapon types she can equip, and the Spells and Skills she can use; this makes her capable to equip pretty much any of the weapon types available, barring a few, less conventional ones.
- As a Warrior, her starting Vocation, she can equip Twin Swords, Swords and Shields, and Axes.
- As a Martial Artist, she can wield Staves and Claws.
- As a Mage, she is a ranged caster that focuses on blasting enemies with her Wands, Heavy Wands, and Whips.
- As a Priest, she can heal, and assists the battle with Wands, Spears, and Staves.
- As a Thief, she is a swift trickster that tears through the enemy with Claws, Whips, and Bows. Once she reaches level 20 as a Thief, if she is the leading protagonist, and a certain point in the story has been reached, Teresa becomes able to tackle a sidequest that will reward the Thief's key, becoming able to open the special, locked Treasure chests scattered across the land.
After increasing the level of some of his starting Vocations, Teresa can furthermore unlock two additional, stronger Vocations:
- As a Gladiator she can equip Twin Swords, Swords and Shield, Spears, Axes, and Claws. To be unlocked, both the Warrior and Martial artist classes must have reached level 20, a certain point in the story has been reached, and Teresa herself, if she is the leading protagonist, has to clear a special sidequest.
- As a Sage, she can wield Wands, Heavy Wands, Staves, Bows, and Whips. To be unlocked, both the Mage and Priest classes must have reached level 20, a certain point in the story has been reached, and Teresa herself, if she is the leading protagonist, has to clear a special sidequest.
Regardless of the weapon she is equipped with, Teresa's Coup de Grâce is a variation of the Gigaslash attack.
