Pragmatic Bhagavad Gita is a simple, authentic and practical explanation of the Bhagavad Gita.
The sole intent is the spreading of the teachings of Shri Krishna, helping people implement the teachings in day-to-day life.
In a leading article published in Freeyork on Hinduism,[1] it is mentioned that one of its most profound texts, the Bhagavad Gita, offers timeless wisdom on life and spirituality. For those new to its teachings, understanding Bhagavad Gita explained in simple terms can make its deep philosophies more accessible and relatable.
Krsnadaasa, born Vinayak Raghuvamshi, has dedicated himself to the study, reflection, and practical integration of the timeless wisdom found in the Bhagavad Gita. He has devoted himself to making these teachings available to everyone. He is a devoted servant of the Supreme Lord Shri Krishna.[2]
Krsnadaasa was born into a family of book lovers and has been driven by a quest to comprehend divinity. He has a computer science background and strives to make complex spiritual concepts accessible.
There is no expectation of personal gain as his desire is that his teachings positively transform everyone’s life.
Rather than following the conventional path of a Swami, Krsnadaasa approaches this journey with a pragmatic perspective, seeking to connect ancient spiritual teachings with the realities of modern life.
His path has been one of ongoing learning, unlearning, and rediscovery—a dynamic process that has shaped his view of spirituality as an evolving, living practice rather than a rigid set of beliefs.
In 2017, Krsnadaasa published his first book “Sri Krishna's Commandments”.[3]
The book has been translated and is available in German and Spanish.[4]
This was followed by “Pragmatic Bhakti Sutras: Based on the Aphorisms on Divine Love by Sage Narada”. The book delved into the practical aspects of the Bhagavad Gita. Many readers have found it to be a source of guidance and clarity as this book further examines the practical dimensions of devotion and spirituality in the context of modern life. Krsnadaasa has been inspired by the translations and commentaries by esteemed gurus, including Swami Vivekananda, Lokmanya Tilak, Swami Ranganathananda, Swami Mukundananda, Swami Yogananda, Swami Prabhupada, Georg Feuerstein amongst other great saints and acharyas.
Krsnadaasa publishes Apple podcast on a frequent basis.[5]
Krsnadaasa has several other links. Spotify[6], TuneIn[7], Podbay[8] and Amazon music.
