Farzaneh Fasihi (Persian: فرزانه فصیحی, also Romanized as "Farzāneh Fasihi", Persian pronunciation: [fæɾzɒːˈne fæsiːˈhiː]; born 1993 in Isfahan) is an Iranian sprinter.[1][2] Fasihi is the Iranian record holder of the 60 metres indoor with 7.20 seconds.[3]

Sporting career
editFasihi's first international experience was at the 2016 Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in Doha, where she finished her competition as 5th in 60 m and in 4 x 400 m relay achieving silver medal. In 2017, she participated in the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku and reached over semi-finals in 100 m. In 2018, she participated in Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in Tehran, where she won the bronze medal in the 60 m with a 7.44 seconds record. [citation needed]
She competed in the 2020 Summer Olympics (49th) and 2023 World Athletics Championships (44th) in the 100 m, finishing in the heats round.[3]
