English: The doctor Japyx heals Aeneas (sided by his mother, goddess Venus, and by his own son Ascanius, who is weeping), wounded on one leg. Ancient Roman fresco from the "House of Sirico" in Pompeii, Italy); mid 1st century. On display at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale (Naples).
