This member of the rose family is related to the blackberry and has edible berries. The flower is about 35mm in size and the petals were so fragile they were being blown off by the wind. I will taste a berry when they are ripe and report back (if I can ever find the plant again). IRC lists it as rare and having a shrub growth habit but this one was definitely a vine.
