Summary

Description
English: October 14 is the day of the first spark in 1963 against the British colonialists from the Radfan Mountains in southern Yemen.

The Freedom Statue in Khor Maksar, the capital, Aden, is a monument to the martyrs of the revolution. The monument was destroyed after the northern forces entered the capital, Aden, in the 1994 war

It was smashed and cut into pieces months after the fall of Aden in August of 1994 AD under the pretext that it would be worshipped as an idol or a false god. The pieces were sold in the coppersmiths market.
