Chicago Med is an American medical drama that premiered on NBC on November 17, 2015. The series is focused on the emergency department of Gaffney Chicago Medical Center and on its doctors and nurses as they work to save patients' lives. The seventh season premiered on September 22, 2021.[1] The eighth season premiered on September 21, 2022.[2] In April 2023, the series was renewed for a ninth season that premiered on January 17, 2024.[3][4] In March 2024, the series was renewed for a tenth season which premiered on September 25, 2024.[5][6]
As of November 20, 2024,[update] 184 episodes of Chicago Med have aired, currently in its tenth season.
