Lovers and Liars is an American dating reality television series which premiered on April 1, 2024, on The CW. The show is a spinoff of the FBoy Island franchise and was known as FGirl Island during development.[1][2]

Premise

Three single men arrive at a tropical island to determine which of 24 women are there for love or cash in order to win $100,000.[3]

The leading men are fan faves from FBoy Island: Casey Johnson a 26-year old marketing executive from Nashville, TN; Benedict Polizzi a 32-year old comedian from Indianapolis, IN; CJ Weathers a 24-year old basketball player from Dallas, TX.

FBoy Island Season 2 Lead Mia Jones returns at episode 3.

Production

On March 16, 2023, it was announced that The CW had ordered the series under the title FGirl Island.[5][6][7][8][9] On February 15, 2024, the series was renamed Lovers and Liars and it was also announced that the series would premiere on April 1, 2024.[10][11][3]
