For sensitive matters, you may contact an individual bureaucrat directly by e-mail.
The Bureaucrats' noticeboard is a place where items related to the Bureaucrats can be discussed and coordinated. Any user is welcome to leave a message or join the discussion here. Please start a new section for each topic.
This is not a forum for grievances. It is a specific noticeboard addressing Bureaucrat-related issues. If you want to know more about an action by a particular bureaucrat, you should first raise the matter with them on their talk page. Please stay on topic, remain civil, and remember to assume good faith. Take extraneous comments or threads to relevant talk pages.
If you are here to report that an RFA or an RFB is "overdue" or "expired", please wait at least 12 hours from the scheduled end time before making a post here about it. There are a fair number of active bureaucrats; and an eye is being kept on the time remaining on these discussions. Thank you for your patience.

Desysop (Ad Orientem)
Handing in the bit. It has been an honor and a privilege. -Ad Orientem (talk) 19:48, 24 September 2020 (UTC)

- Ad Orientem, I know I speak for many when I say that you are held in the highest esteem. Working alongside you over the years has been an honour and a privilege, truly. El_C 21:53, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
- "You will be missed" and "thank you for your service" are the usual platitudes, even when they're not truly deserved. Having said that, Ad Orientem, and I don't say this lightly, your presence will be sorely missed. There are dozens of admins who claim to "administer" Wikipedia, but there are only a handful who truly guide it. You were one and I deeply regret you moving on. All the very best. - I echo the above comments. --TheSandDoctor Talk 07:38, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
- Ouch! I really wish you had left your mop as is and just ridden off into the sunset. After a period of time, you might have wanted to return and pick up where you left off. I'm sorry to see this ... we will miss your skill as an admin. Softlavender (talk) 08:11, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
- Resysop is a relatively painless process, provided it's requested within the proscribed timeframe. Primefac (talk) 13:17, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
- I so wish it to be true in this case. Ad Orientem, you really are (were) one of the best ones... Regards SoWhy 12:46, 1 October 2020 (UTC)

Removal of admin position (Bduke)
I now longer wish to be an Administrator on wikipedia due to my old age. Please remove me. I will continue to make a few edits. It has been fun. --Bduke (talk) 01:08, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
- Done. Primefac (talk) 01:31, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
