Subhankar Sarkar (born 2 January, 1960) is an Indian politician from West Bengal representing the Indian National Congress.[1] He is currently serving as President of West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee.[2]

On 21 September 2024, he was appointed as State President of the West Bengal Congress. Prior to his appointment as State President of the Indian National Congress unit of West Bengal, he served as National Secretary of the All India Congress Committee and the Indian National Congress State-In-Charge of Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee, Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee and Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee.[3] He had previously served as National Secretary of the All India Congress Committee and State-In-Charge of Odisha between 2013 and 2018.[4][5]
