Episode order possibly
editIf the WGA credit date is to believed as to the order of which the episodes were written (which I don't think is reliable to basis this on), the order of episodes of what we have (with some still nestled between them probably) would be:
- "Know Your Onions" Credit date 4/22/2019
- "The New Deal" Credit date 4/22/2019
- "Alien Commies from the Future" Credit date 5/7/2019
- "Out of the Past" Credit date 5/14/2019
- "A Trout in the Milk" Credit date 5/22/2019
- "Adapt or Die" Credit date 5/29/2019
- "After, Before" Credit date 7/10/2019
- "As I Have Always Been" Credit date 7/17/2019
- "Stolen" Credit date 7/29/2019
- "The Totally Excellent Adventures of Mack and the D" Credit date 6/17/2019
This is just for an FYI. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 17:38, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
Coulson in season
editHi, Favre1fan93. FYIO, Phil Coulson will not be a part of the season, as you've just wrote in two places, Clark Gregg will play another role. IKhitron (talk) 21:43, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- He's still Coulson albiet an LMD. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 21:44, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- It's your call, of course, but I do not think so. Especially after one pafticular episode a couple of seasons ago. Exactly as in "Star Trek" two copies of "Number One" are not the same person. IKhitron (talk) 22:06, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- Per the recently added source, they are still calling/crediting him as simply Agent Phil Coulson. It's noted now about the LMD in the lead and body, and of course will probably be mentioned in the episodes. It could be added in the cast section, but I don't think it needs to be. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 22:11, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

Peggy Carter
editIs FandomWire really a reliable source? Daniel Sousa was officialy confirmed, but Carter not. It seems like it’s just a rumor for now. YgorD3 (talk) 20:17, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
- I was happy with the source at the time. I don't think the fact that they confirmed Sousa and not Peggy means she isn't in it, if they wanted to keep her appearance a secret. - adamstom97 (talk) 20:50, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, it could be a secret. However, still not sure how reliable these guys from FandomWire are as a news source. It is easy to assume that Peggy Carter will appear after Ming-Na Wen "accidentally" confirmed Daniel Sousa, but anything is possible. Last month, FandonWire reported an "exclusive" about a cut of a movie not being released and a studio never working with a specific director again (wrong). But I don't know much about the site. They have a good reputation in general? YgorD3 (talk) 10:14, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
- No other source has labeled her involved, and all the recent interviews with the cast treat Daniel Sousa as confirmed but say nothing of Hayley Atwell. Furthermore, FandomWire is NOTORIOUS for getting things wrong, taking news out of context, etc. The article can easily be understood as they mistook Daniel Sousa's involvement for Peggy Carter's inclusion. Please provide a better source before adding her to the article and/or reverting edits that remove her. 2604:2000:1383:4679:C0B9:2C86:EB4F:FE7D (talk) 23:54, 26 May 2020 (UTC)

Christopher James Backer / Malachi
editIn an interview (May 17), Christopher James Baker, who played a recurring role in season 6 as the Chronicom Malachi, answered a few questions about his character's role in season 7. The answers are vague, but I think it confirms/suggests that the character will appear in the season. Thoughts?

- I think we can use this to put him in the notable guests column, as he is a returning guest. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:51, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
- Well, despite this interview, Baker is not credited in the press release for the series finale. Weird, but also not very surprising. He was working on Stargirl. YgorD3 (talk) 16:42, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
- I saw that. Obviously it's possible he appears without being revealed in the press release, so I'm inclined to leave the info in the cast and casting sections as is until next week. And if he indeed isn't in either episode, we can adjust then. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 17:05, 6 August 2020 (UTC)

Sousa info at the Agent Carter article?
editI was curious if we should make mention of Sousa's appearance in the season and a brief overview of what's been revealed at Agent Carter (TV series), somewhere in the "Future" section. While not a direct continuation of the series, I think having something there to direct readers here would be helpful. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 03:20, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
- I agree that at least a mention should go in the "Future" section over there, especially with plenty of commentary about this continuing the series and revealing what happened after its cancellation. - adamstom97 (talk) 23:48, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
- I forgot to come back here to say that I had added some info. And since Sousa will be in 704, the little bit of info on that appearance can also go where I put the 703 info. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 15:41, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
Leo Fitz credit
editJust wondering. Do you think Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz should be switched over to Recurring, or is there a reason why he is still listed as main? - Voicebox64 (talk) 18:36, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
- De Caestecker is officially listed as part of the main cast in the Season 7 press release. YgorD3 (talk) 20:13, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
- I haven't honestly been paying attention but now that I've looked, De Caestecker has not been credited yet this season. While YgorD3 is correct he is still listed as a main cast member per the production/press release, per MOS:TVCAST, he should be moved to the bottom of the cast listing, because once he does appear he will technically be a "new" credit for the season, and those go to the bottom of the list. I'm going to make this change, but I do think at some point, his absence in the season should be noted (be it in writing or casting). I haven't found anything from the producers saying why he's been absent for the first 4 episodes so far. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 22:32, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
- I think we should wait until he does show up (so we know when he will be added) and his absence is discussed before adding any commentary about it. - adamstom97 (talk) 06:14, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- I moved him to the bottom of the list, because the season is not going to have any additional main cast member credits outside of him. So per TVCAST
The cast listing should be ordered according to the original broadcast credits, with new cast members being added to the end of the list.
Within this season, De Caestecker, once he does appear, would technically be a "new" cast member. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 14:43, 19 June 2020 (UTC) - I've just added some info on De Caestecker (being absent because he was working on another project) and some commentary on the character's absence in the reception section. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 15:51, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

How the series follows time travel
editThis source may be added to the section "Marvel Cinematic Universe tie-ins" to explain how the series follows time travel, given that Daisy didn't blip out of existence when Jiaying was killed. --Kailash29792 (talk) 10:33, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

Finale
editHello. Thefutoncritic states that there will not be episode 12 and episode 13, but a single episode, two-hour series finale. [1] IKhitron (talk) 17:45, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- IKhitron, maybe it's like S.O.S. from season two. Favre1fan93, what do we do? Kailash29792 (talk) 18:00, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- Indeed, compare with [2]. IKhitron (talk) 19:07, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- It's simply the last two episodes airing back-to-back, episodes 712 ("The End is at Hand") and 713 ("What We're Fighting For"). Drovethrughosts (talk) 18:34, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- Yeah, at the moment it just looks like it will be two episodes back-to-back, but if it ends up being more like one long episode then we can adjust the episode table formatting to be a two-parter like S.O.S. - adamstom97 (talk) 19:27, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- Favre1fan93, was it really necessary to create a single article for two episodes? Adamstom.97, does it look fine or should they have separate articles? Kailash29792 (talk) 17:17, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Kailash29792: Yes, given all reliable sources, mostly the reviews, have pertained to both episodes, or episode 13, and not really episode 12. If you look at how I was crafting what exists now, here, you can see I started with making each episode its own article, but as I kept adding content, it made more sense to have a combined article to cover both episodes. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:35, 13 August 2020 (UTC)

Why Fitz was mostly absent
editThese sources [3] and [4] contain facts that appear to be contradicting the existing info. Please see where to use them. Kailash29792 (talk) 08:30, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- It's not really conflicting. De Caestecker chose to accept other projects, knowing this season was also going to be happening, resulting in him being unavailable and the producers needing to work around the schedule De Caestecker gave them for availability. A bit more can be added, sure, but it isn't conflicting. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 14:52, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
GA Nomination
edit@Favre1fan93:@Kailash29792:@IKhitron: Hey guys, I'm suggesting we nominate this article for Good article status. Can somebody respond to this message with a ping to me, so we can discuss it? Are there any parts that need to be updated first? Let me know. Thanks! Also, the nomination notice is on the top, if you want to remove it, I guess you can. PhilCoulson20 (talk) 18:21, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
- @PhilCoulson20: As you are still a new editor, I encourage you to read up on editing practice. As well, good article nominations are encouraged to be made by editors who were significant editors to the article (which you are not) or those that understand Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I find it hard to believe a brand new editors that joined 5 days ago could do this. If you continue to go around the site nominating articles where you have not significantly edited (which would be hard since you are brand new editor), that can be viewed as disrupted and you will be reported. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 21:14, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Favre1fan93: I have edited both Fandom and Miraheze, I am familiar with policies, and I know a lot (maybe too much) about Agents of SHIELD. How exactly am I not qualified to do this task? Also, just because I'm a brand new editor on Wikipedia doesn't mean that I'm not brand new everywhere. Also, my account was created on August 28, 2020, so it's over a month old. PhilCoulson20 (talk) 23:01, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
- PhilCoulson20, it's discouraging that after being advised over the past few days that you gain a lot more experience here at Wikipedia, you turn around and make a new nomination here. I realize this isn't news you want to hear, but it's clear that you are not "familiar with policies", since you nominated this despite the GA instructions which state:
Nominators who are not significant contributors to the article should consult regular editors of the article on the article talk page prior to a nomination.
It's pretty clear: consult, and if you get consensus that it's ready, only then nominate (you did this backwards). Also, you asked above: "Are there any parts that need to be updated first?" You're supposed to know the criteria, know the subject, and if you're going to nominate an article, know whether the updates are needed. You've basically been demonstrating over and over again that you are not anywhere near ready for GA. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:49, 5 October 2020 (UTC) - Fandom and Wikipedia are vastly different, with Fandom (at least in my experience viewing at least MCU-related wikis) allowing things such as excess trivia that we don't allow here. I am not judging any knowledge you may or may not have for the subject. I am judging your "bull in a china shop" approach to trying to making things happen after recently joining Wikipedia (ie this GA nomination, a GA nomination for Endgame, Helstrom-related templates and articles) when it's clear all of these are against guidelines and policies of Wikipedia editors. So, yes, as BlueMoonset stated above me as well, it is discouraging to see you making these edits, which if they continue will be considered disruptive, and ultimately reported. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 02:18, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
- FWIW, I oppose this user having anything to do with the GA process, either nominating or reviewing it. It's clear from their latest actions and their user page that they are trophy collecting, having claimed to have brought Marvel Cinematic Universe films to GA...5 years before they started editing. --Gonnym (talk) 16:29, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
- I am discussing with them on their talk page for the disruptive editing they've been doing. I am watching their contributions because, while their ambitions are noble, they appear to have no grasp for our guidelines and policies and how to go about working on articles. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 17:40, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hello. Thanks for the ping, but unfortunately I'm not a part of enwiki, so I can't be helpful here. Btw, I did not get the ping, and found it now, while reading the watchlist. IKhitron (talk) 15:11, 11 October 2020 (UTC)
