Churkendoose - please add date

The Churkendoose date is 1946 or '47. The recording starring Ray Bolger is on the web at http://wilderworld.podomatic.com/entry/2007-02-06T00_40_05-08_00 . The book by Ben Ross Berenberg was published in 1946 by Wonder Books. Both are treasures!

Also, I'm surprised to see Churkendoose labelled an opera. Mini-operetta, perhaps. It's only 5-10 minutes long.

There is no mention of the music he composed for "Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass". I think it's pretty boring stuff, but it should be mentioned. WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 14:26, 2 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
