Why an extra degree
editWhy is there an extra degree for Business Administration and not the common BS or BA? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.13.149.56 (talk) 12:22, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
Highest-Ranked Schools List is Misleading
editThe list of highly-ranked schools is misleading. I know for a fact that the University of Chicago does not offer an undergraduate degree in business. Some of the other listed schools probably don't either; I don't have time right now to look it up.
The USNWR article is a ranking of schools for "economics and business". Because business is not part of the liberal arts, many of the top schools do not offer degrees in business, marketing, or anything else that would fall under the umbrella of a BBA. You can major in economics, though, which is why such schools are on the list.
Even if you can major in business at, say, Harvard, they aren't going to grant you a BBA. It will be a BA, or more likely an AB, which is just the Latin version. 2603:B078:2000:930:54:2177:4109:E36E (talk) 00:19, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
