– This is common article about sexual intercourse which should be renamed as sexual intercourse (in common) or sexual intercourse in animals instead of the article sexual intercourse which is about human only, thus should be renamed as sexual intercourse in humans. 202.134.11.235 (talk) 10:25, 6 April 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. - Note: a move request at Talk:Sexual intercourse conflicted with this request and has been combined into it. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 20:00, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. Instead, move copulation (zoology) to copulation. Sexual intercourse isn't a term that is normally used in non-human contexts. Copulation is normally used in non-human contexts, and most of the incoming links to copulation intend a non-human context. Note that copulation has substantial edit history; there should be a history-merge rather than a straight move if there is consensus to move. Plantdrew (talk) 16:30, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
- Also, if Copulation (zoology) is moved to Copulation, then the hatnote at Sexual intercourse will have to be altered, as well. And a round robin page move procedure should be used with move _targets that have significant edit history. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 15:39, 13 April 2024 (UTC)

- Oppose for reasons given by Plantdrew. I'm neutral/undecided about what if anything should be done with the copulation basename. Perhaps better to have a separate discussion about that. Colin M (talk) 22:47, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose per above. Ahri.boy (talk) 00:55, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
