The US one is by a single reporter, Anita Busch, so this will eventually be replaced by Box Office Mojo once the numbers settle down. Busch has said that there's one more day of the first run. The overseas figure from Screendaily is also from just a single reporter with no exact figures; this too should be updated by Box Office Mojo afterwards. So please be patient.

As of August 12, 2015 20:45 PST, Box Office Mojo has

• $7,232,704 as of 8/11 Domestic
• $51,626,891 as of 7/29 Foreign
• $622,078 as of 8/9 Australia
• $82,363 as of 8/9 New Zealand

I expect domestic to change to that 7.5 million, but as Busch said, there's one more day of US proceeds, so she will probably post a newer figure to that first, and it will be confirmed in Box Office Mojo two days from now. There's no rush to update this figure every day. But should you decide to update, please update the accessdate and the publication date of the appropriate sources. Box Office Mojo is not including Canada into it's domestic gross just like they didn't for Battle of Gods either therefore it is an incomplete gross that will likely always stay that way. Deadline's figure however does include Canada and thus is more accurate.

Funimation themselves announced a gross of $5.97 million as of Sunday. BOM has it at $5.76 million as of Sunday for the reason given above, no Canada.

Screendaily is a credible source and it's $51.7 million overseas figure came as of one week after Box Mojo's $51.63 million and is again more up to date and accurate.

I don't understand the Canada figures. Where is the article or website detail that shows that BOM does not include Canada? Also, does BOM Foreign include or exclude Australia and New Zealand? All these assumptions look like WP:OR original research to me. Also citing the press release from Funimation itself is a primary source, so it would be better to use secondary sources such as BOM or The Numbers after they've updated. BOM has it at $7.71 million as of the same point in time because it doesn't include Canada. A previous press statement from Funimation had the movie at making $5.97 million as of Sunday. BOM had it at $5.76 million as of Sunday.

They did the same thing with BoG. Again recently Funimation said that movie had made $2.8 million in 8 days. BOM has it at $2.55 million in 8 days. BOM is just not including the Canadian gross for some reason.

BOM recently updated the foreign gross as of August 12. It fits with Screendaily's $52.4 million gross as of the 13th and yes it does include Australia and New Zealand.

No the foreign gross couldn't be including Canada. On August 1 Box Mojo had the movie at $51.63 million foreign. On Friday it was announced to be at $52.4 million foreign by Screendaily. In between those two dates it came out in Australia and made $0.75 million and in New Zealand it made $0.08 million and that explains the $0.8 million or so increase.

The foreign figure would be too low for it to also be including the $0.3 million it had made in Canada as it would have been at $52.7 million foreign instead.

The domestic box office does generally include United States and Canada but there may be an exception with movies like this being a limited released.

There is further proof that BOM is not including Canada. In this article here

They mention that on Thursday the movie had made $400k in 246 theatres in US and $110k in 54 theatres in Canada. Later that day Boxoffice.com gave their Thursday figures

And had it at making $417k in 251 theatres and clearly were not taking Canada into account. Box Mojo has the same gross across a mistaken 901 theatres.

Funimation is supposed to be announcing the final gross this week. Box Mojo will likely never update the domestic gross with Canadian figures if they didn't for Battle of Gods. They probably will update the foreign gross and hopefully it won't be incomplete like their Battle of Gods foreign gross that doesn't include Australia and New Zealand into it's foreign total.

Can you list the sources again for the box office figures?

• ??, Cinetel, Is that Italy? Did it open there recently? Australia? New Zealand?
• 0.78? AUS and NZ after 8/21? You need to provide the sources for this. Show the box office figure at 8/21 and the latest box office figure afterwards.

@AngusWOOF: Make sure to ping @Scabab: as he/she seems to be active only periodically. I haven't myself really looked into it, but as I understand it, the €680k (or $780k) gross comes from Italy (Cinetel), which is not included in Deadline or Screendaily's figures, or BOM for that matter. Therefore, seems to me it adds up to 61.88 (52.7+8.4+0.78) or 61.9 million rounded. ProKro (talk) 19:49, 15 September 2015 (UTC)

How do I confirm that Cinetel is not included in the worldwide BOM or Screendaily? Did the movie open after 8/21 in Italy? I just want to make sure whatever figure is posted has a detailed enough trail so that anyone looking up the references can do the math and also understand each of the factors without original research or synthesis like the stuff that almost put the North America figure in question. Alright so what we already knew is

North America (US and Canada) - $8.4 million -- Funimation themselves stated this.

Overseas - $52.83 million as of September 8th -- Box Office Mojo (I only just found out about this one)

Then on the 12th (Saturday) it opened in Italy and for the weekend (11th-13th) it made $588,000. This comes from Cinetel but better yet also Hollywood Reporter.

Then finally Cinetel also has the gross for the 14th (Monday) where it made US$173,000.

Computation, again

The movie should be out of the theaters now. Can someone do a computation of the final movie gross values? I only came up with 62.1 based on the 8.4 from the news article (8.0 is from US) and the 53.7 from BOM. Are there any other sources not covered by those two? The International figure on BOM of $53.76 million is listed as being as of 23rd September. After that date it was released in South Korea ($150,000), UK ($280,000) (BOM made a mistake here) and Spain ($289,000). The Numbers has these figures.

Resurrection "of" F

Cast list

Okay, found the production notes online from Sci Fi Japan.[5] I'm using that as the basis for the cast list per WP:FILMCAST There are other characters credited in the film, but they will require sources and notability to make the list. I've trimmed the list further to only the production notes and filled in Jaco who is the odd actor out from the closing credits. There are plenty of other actors who participated and were named in the closing credits, but this would make the article entry ridiculously long. (Wikipedia is not everything.) consistency in naming- Kuririn and Krillin

i changed the second mention of krillin from kuririn to krillin, as the first reference is to KRILLIN nor KURIRIN, and the article is in english. if youre going to go and japanafy one name, you should do the same to all of them. Bejīta for Vegeta, Gokū or Son Gokū for goku, Son Gohan for gohan, etc. to do otherwise is simply confuisng to readers, as anyone familiar with krilin will not be familiar with kuririn unless they are familiar with the japanese releases as well.108.183.120.149 (talk) 03:19, 27 August 2015 (UTC)

Funimation's character names & consistency

If we're going to be using the Funimation names for all the characters (i.e. Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Master Roshi, etc.) then why do we still have some mentions of "Shenlong" (Funimation spell his name as Shenron), "Majin Boo" (Funimation = Majin Buu), isn't it inconsistent or am I missing something here?

Also, "Sisami" in the cast list, I've never seen him being called Sisami, definitely not by Funimation. I thought his name was Shisami? As well as this, "Shou" in the cast list, I cannot find a source where the official spelling of his name is listed as "Shou", he's always called Shu because it makes up a pun with Mai's name to become Shumai (a type of food) Deathbringer2206 (talk) 23:33, 11 December 2015 (UTC)

Shou is listed in the production notes. [6] The others you mentioned are not listed in the production notes, so their spellings as well as their voice actors listed past Jaco will have to be confirmed by the video. Yes, Shu and Mai make up that Dim sum name. They probably used Shu for the television series, but for the purposes of this article, use Shou. A18 and No. 18 are the same, referring to Android 18. So far, I haven't found anything wrong on this article to possibly instantly deny it good article status, which is "Good" (Excuse the pun).

Copyvio Results

Well, Copyvio is 88.4% sure there is a violation. However, it could be some weird coincidence, and I believe that the Youtube vid may have copied some info from Wikipedia and used it in the YT Description. Sooo, since I'm new to this, I'm going to want a second opinion on this one.
