This page was moved on October 31 and a primary topic redirect was established from Edo to Edo period. While Edo period receives more page views than Edo, Edo alone normally refers to the city rather than the period. Page view analysis shows that less than 1% of the traffic to this page subsequently went to the applicable disambiguation page (EDO). Thus I have reverted the move under WP:RMUM. If you still feel that this page should be moved, please initiate a move request. If a request is made I would suggest using a title like Edo (city) rather than Edo (Tokyo), since we don't normally use alternate titles as disambiguators.
