I also agree. The article Eraser_(software) is not being merged, so I see no reason why this article should be, as they are equally useful programs. Bcnstony 06:49, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Link cruft

I propose deleting the list of links to external sites which proclaim to be "file wiping software". The section is just going to act as a magnet for spam and link cruft otherwise. If a program has an existing encyclopedia article, let us link to that. If not, it's not appropriate for an encyclopedia. Remember, Wikipedia is not a directory .
