editWest Finchley is in postal code N3 (I should know, I live there) and I've changed it accordingly. It's quite close to the N3/N12 border, though, if you'd prefer to be pedantic. Alexisr 03:21, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Railway information
editThere seems to an excessive amount of information about railways which distorts this article. The long history of the Edgware, Highgate and London Railway could be replaced by a link to its own article and a short explanation of its role in the development Finchley. The same could be said of the North and West London Light railway, if such speculative information from an advocacy group should be included at all. Grim23★ 17:20, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
Agreed. Railway wording cut in half.
Apparently. in the UK, copyright is established without having to claim it. Sorry.
Finchley Central
editThere is/was comprehensive high-density redevelopment planned at Finchley Central station, or its environs, isn't/ wasn't there? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jdudding (talk • contribs) 23:32, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
- The area around Finchley Central station is already quite built up, could you clarify your question? BTW to sign and date your comments type four tildes like this "~~~~". Grim23★ 03:16, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
It was mentioned at the Mill Hill East Area Action Plan enquiry.
Sternberg Centre
editHard to see how this information could be dubious, it matches exactly the wording on the Sternberg Centre Wikipedia article. Surely the fact that the claim links directly to the article in Wikipedia which makes the claim and which is itself free of "dubious" markers should suggest more than a modicum of credibility? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.174.206.145 (talk) 10:43, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- It shows inconsistency, credibility is shown by reliable sources Grim23★ 17:36, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
Henly's Corner
edit"Henly's Corner" should be spelt the same every time. 82.163.24.100 (talk) 23:06, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
- Corrected. Grim23★ 23:40, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

Population?
editWhy do the population figures end at 1961?Ajericn (talk) 10:41, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
- I do not know, but it is probably because separate figures for the parish were not given after Finchley became part of Barnet in 1965. Dudley Miles (talk) 11:17, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
