Is this the "True love knot"?

In my knot book, "True love knot" (presumably same as "true lover's knot?") is said to be a heraldic name for the carrick bend, not the fisherman's knot. Securiger 04:53, 23 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Use as an adjustable bend

This knot is great for tying a necklace. It allows the necklace to be drawn up stylishly, yet be lengthened to remove over the head without untying. It is quite secure too...--Sparklingpoolcare 07:28, 15 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'd recommend 2 Strangle knots instead of 2 overhand knots if there is to be a lot of adjusting. Cheers, Netizen 14:03, 15 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
