Sampling Plus License
editSampling plus looks pretty non free as a license. Secretlondon 14:23, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- It is true that the "sampling plus" license is not totally unrestricted, however many licenses are considered "free enough". Note that there is also a Creative_Commons_License#Other_licenses "noncommercial sampling plus" that is more explicit about commercial use. -- Bovineone 18:50, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
Well its' not free enough to use in wikipedia, and fails the definition of free cultural works. We can't add the sounds to free software as they are not free enough either. The fact that there are worse licenses (such as CC-NC-ND) doesn't change that. Secretlondon 02:49, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

The Freesound Project → Freesound – As can be seen from the Freesound website, the name Freesound Project is no longer used, and the site now calls itself simply Freesound. Zundark (talk) 12:40, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
