Image on the way
editThe image previously named BBCnews24johnsopel.jpg will be back here soon with the correct spelling, as in I'll upload it again with the right name. In the meantime, the original - Image:BBCnews24johnsopel.jpg will be listed for deletion. Wikiwoohoo 17:18, 22 November 2005 (UTC)
Recent addition to 'Personal' section
editI have removed an edit sugegsting that Sopel was having an affair with another media personality, as I am not aware of any evidence to back the claim. This is not an indication of whether I beleive the claim to be true or otherwiase - I have no idea. But unsourced allegations of this kind are potentially libellous. If anyone has reliable sources, by all means post them. if not, it will have to stay out of the article. Jeendan 21:38, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

BBC News Channel image
editThe file JonSopel.jpg at Commons appears to have some copyright issues attached to it. It is screenshot of Sopel presenting on the BBC News Channel from November 2010, but thus far appears to have escaped the attention of any experts on this issue of copyright. Can someone with Commons experience take a look and give it the nod (or not as the case may be)? Cheers TheRetroGuy (talk) 17:57, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
