Contested
editI am contesting the speedy deletion of this article. The G4 speedy deletion criteria (recreation of previously deleted article) is for deletion of articles that are substantially identical to the original article, whereas this article was rewritten from scratch by different editors and is considerably longer. Morever, the original AFD was an improperly closed slim 5:4 decision that should have been closed as "no consensus", not "delete". Those arguing for deletion claim the model is not notable. However, a model's notability is based on advertising and magazine appearances, and the article makes clear the wide range of those advertising and magazine appearances. Furthermore, this model is a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model, and the articles linked from list of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition models would suggest that such models are notable.
The article could definitely be improved by more expansion and sourcing, but deletion should not be a shortcut substitute for cleanup and improvement.

- My WP:CSD nomination was merely procedural. I support this as an encyclopedic biographical subject. If you are going to have this kept please get the history restored and put a T:AH here with the versions that were AFDed and Prodded. It is always good to keep the history.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:07, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
- I've restored the full history. —Lowellian (reply) 01:12, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
