Grad dorms

edit

What about the dormitories for grad students? Don't they count? If not, it should be specified in the article why they don't ...

Canaday merger

edit

I don't see why Canaday needs a separate page - must every dorm at every university have its own Wikipedia entry? I doubt it. Mass Hall is historically and architecturally significant, but the others can all be treated in as much detail as necessary on this page. Bruxism 23:08, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Keep separate

edit

I lived on the first floor of Canaday 1978-9 and I think we should keep it separate. Canaday is unique because it was built during an era of incredibly bad taste, and it is the only Stalinesque building in Harvard Yard.

must every dorm at every university have its own Wikipedia entry?

Not at all, but Harvard dorms should. 168.224.1.14 15:02, 13 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Titantic benefits

edit

Wow, that Titanic thing was a real bonanza for Harvard [1]. 'Tis an ill wind that blows no man (or college) good. EEng (talk) 20:51, 2 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Apley

Re [2] [3]: My mistake. I was thinking of Clavicle Hall. It's the memory that goes first, you know. EEng (talk) 13:14, 20 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

merger proposal to List of Harvard residence houses and dormitories

edit

There's a proposal to merge this list-article into a larger one to be created, List of Harvard residence houses and dormitories. Discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mather House (Harvard University). The larger list-article could possibly be created by moving this one to the new title, then merging in info about 13 separate residence houses. Comment at the discussion there, not here. --doncram 21:07, 27 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Need images of Matthews

edit

Can someone please provide at least one image of Matthews? It is by far the most interesting architecturally -- enough so to justify its own article (as the other (lesser) halls have), with several images. BMJ-pdx (talk) 14:46, 11 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
