Anniversary edition addition

edit

Do you think a new section outlining the recent 25th anniversary deluxe edition of the album is warranted? I believe there is justified informative substantive on the new collaborations within the album and the sales of the rerelease. ƒin (talk) 05:50, 1 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

I believe a new section is warranted, with the addition of an image of the anniversary edition's cover artwork. Sliv812 (talk) 22:18, 6 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Best selling

edit

Hey there, the article currently says, this Album is the best selling Christmas album of all time, whereas this article about Elvis' Christmas Album claims the same: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elvis%27_Christmas_Album

Original source about the 15 million copies sold is paywalled, but Elvis' article claims at least 20 million sold. Maybe this should be adjusted or corrected?

Merry Christmas is certified 2x platinum in New Zealand, not just platinum. Source https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Official_New_Zealand_Music_Chart go to "List of certified albums" Justabadguy (talk) 16:30, 28 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Miss You Most (At Christmas Time) as the official 2nd single?

edit

Is this song really ever promoted as the second single? I'm struggling to find valid sources for this. The song didn't chart on any Billboard charts, not even on its most random subchart. Is there really any source for "impact date" indicating radio release? Bluesatellite (talk) 14:20, 23 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

It was described in the Manila Standard as the album's "first single" in the Philippines. Shapiro 2001 lists it as the album's second single. There was a music video, indicating some level of promotion from Columbia. Heartfox (talk) 20:23, 23 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
