Aviation warfare systems operator → Naval aircrewman – According to the article section "Roots of the rate", the rate has been called "naval aircrewman" since 2008. Surely the article should sit at the current name of the rate, with aviation warfare systems operator a redrirect to naval aircrewman? I'm no expert on the Byzantine intricacies of the US Navy rating system, hence my request for consensus, but List of United States Navy ratings seems to confirm the need to move Shem (talk) 23:16, 3 November 2013 (UTC)

Misleading
editThis article is misleading. It implies only AWs can earn Aircrew wings. This is far from true. PumpkinSky talk 03:20, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
