Anarchism

edit

Can I ask why this movement is called "anarchic"?

My knowledge of the Pomarańczowa Alternatywa is only cursory but I suppose it was a protest movement without any real aims. Just for the protest's sake. They wanted to give people some hope, a few laughs and escape from grim everyday life under Communism. Unlike Solidarnosc they were not a political movement rather something like a dada cabaret that went to audiences in the street.

Well, it's because i wrote it basing on article which described it as anarchic. In history you wont see it, because irst author is "coinversion script" :))) Szopen 11:09, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)

The reason it is described as anarchic - and I take it from its leader - Major Fydrych - was that it was breaking up the existing order and freeing the people from the fear that permeated them ever since the Martial Law was imposed by General Jaruzelski (December 1980). When you listen to the OA happeners and people that joined in the happenings (and in some of them over 10 thousand persons took place) searching the freedom from fear was the principal goal that is commonly mentioned. It was a big thing that opened the road to reactivation of the other opposition currents, which were suppressed and depressed as result of the Martial Law. It was anarchic because ridiculized and ruined the existing communist law order epitomized by the Jaruzelski goverment, that maintained the society at its frozen state. La Papesse, 08-12-2006

  • Came here to ask the same question. In a search of Google Books and the Polish WP article, not seeing what source material is claiming anarchist-related ideology here. If their practices were "anarchic", that's fine as an adjectival descriptor but doesn't mean that it's an "anarchist organization" as a defining trait. (not watching, please {{ping}} me if you have relevant sources) czar 01:53, 25 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Why is "See Polish language" possibly appropriate in this article, even discussing a mistranslation or pun? — Arthur Rubin (talk) 02:41, 25 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

no further distortion of my published work

edit

Waldemar “Major” Fydrych has persistently engaged in falsification of my intellectual property rights by erroneously claiming editors Marjolein ‘tHart and Dennis Bos wrote my scholarly article titled, “Antagonism, Absurdity, and the Avant- Garde”. They editted the volume - they DID NOT - author my work. Please block any editor from distorting the record of my own intellectual property. I am the sole author of my published research. These editors never made any comment on the topic, only quoted my work in their Foreword. Lisiunia (talk) 19:35, 29 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
