This

edit

This pafe needs to be sectioned.

I would like to see the inclusion of antigen ranges used for human vaccines.Johnmbillings (talk) 15:13, 16 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wouldn't it make more sense for that information to be posted in the individual vaccine articles? WhatamIdoing (talk) 22:09, 16 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Copyvio?

edit

The information added about adjuvants added here seems to have come from the following page: Review of Selected Adjuvants used in Antibody Production. While I am not sure it is an out and out copyvio (some of the words were changed), I think that this page may need a complete rewrite in order to eliminate any appearance of copyright infringement, therefore I have added the "rewrite" tag to the article for this reason.--DO11.10 19:47, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Why is there an adjuvant section on this page in the first place....adjuvants have their own separate article. This section should be entirely deleted from the article! 209.94.63.5 (talk) 15:05, 19 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Getting to B class

edit

There's lots of info here, but there are no references. This is the biggest reason that the article is "Start" instead of "B" class. WhatamIdoing (talk) 06:10, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Rename

edit

The article was renamed from polyclonal antibody to

  1. Avoid an oxymoron (one antibody could not be polyclonal)
  2. Agree with monoclonal antibodies, which could be singular (and possibly should)

Production/Advantages

edit

I added a basic outline to the "Production" section with hopes it would appeal to a more general audience. I felt that including a broad approach to the production would make the more detailed facts to follow easier to understand. I included a few references in my revision as well. Additionally, I added an "Advantages" section to highlight the production and practical benefits of polyclonal antibody use, which further differentiates them from monoclonal antibodies.
