Ford's Opera House

edit

The 1884 production with Henrietta Vinton Davis actually took place at Ford's OPERA House, not Ford's Theater. Ford's Theater was closed after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and John T. Ford moved his operation around the corner in the vicinity of the present National Archives. Da Stressor 02:02, 22 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reviewer: HJ Mitchell | April Fool! 21:20, 1 April 2010 (UTC) This is a pretty easy pass. I'd suggest linking ranks, though- like General. Most people know what a general is, but, for example, Brigadier General? It might also be worth linking Medal of Honor a little more because I'm sure many readers of this article will want to read about the medal. I'm also wondering if the citation for the MoH couldn't go somewhere else in the body rather than in its own section, but I'll leave that to you. All the images check out as PD, unsurprising due to their age. Oh, and you have a link that needs fixing! All in all, a good article indeed. HJ Mitchell | April Fool! 21:20, 1 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Thanks for the review. I fixed the link and linked a couple more of the ranks. I didn't link Medal of Honor again and I didn't move the MOH citation (not yet anyway) but I am considering incorporating it into the body since its so short. --Kumioko (talk) 02:12, 2 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Was he also Native American?

edit

"Powhatan" was the name of an Indian Chief in Virginia. Did Powhatan Beaty also have Native American heritage? Cliffswallow-vaulting (talk) 10:30, 16 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
