Shouldn't it be LOWERING E, A & B? The Pythagorean E is way too sharp, even compared to the equal temperament E which is still 13.7 cents sharper than the pure beatless E of Just Intonation.

According to "Solomon, J 1999, Ptolemy's Harmonics: Translation and Commentary. Brill, Leiden." Ptolemy's intense diatonic has the following structure:
