Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Sumo Digital. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Hitman???

edit

Uhh...since when did Sumo Digital make Hitman (2016). I'm so confused. They are mentioned nowhere in the game. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:147:C380:46A0:BCC9:DC56:5118:5CF1 (talk) 09:09, 29 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

The connected source says:

Sumo Digital is best known for working on games like LittleBigPlanet 3 and Sonic and SEGA's All-Star Racing, but the studio has also provided support work on Forza Horizon 3, and Hitman among others.

(emphasis mine)
In what capacity they worked on it, I don't know. Regards, Lordtobi () 09:45, 29 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
I've always been a bit iffy about having tables that list "Games developed" when the developer was only working on a specific part or in a specific way and not responsible for the whole title. I can sense a WP:VG discussion brewing.- X201 (talk) 12:02, 29 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
Indeed, this has been a continuous issue with many Ubisoft studio articles as well. One could argue that this is different for Sumo Digital (and other companies like Virtuos) that do only or mostly assistance work. Removing assisted titles here would see a good chunk of the table removed. Lordtobi () 13:23, 29 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sumo Group

edit

@IceWelder: Regarding the removal of the Group infobox; I feel it would be useful to have a Group infobox as key_people have moved from Sumo Digital to Sumo Group, but with only one infobox, it now looks like they have left. Also it would be appreciated if you had spent the time to readd the notable removed info to the text, like the ticker symbol and Livingstone being non-executive chairperson. Infoboxes are not intended to be used for every topic you can cover (in-depth or not) in an article. The |key_people= "missing" would be the same if Sumo Group had its own article. Sumo Digital's article should not stand in for various unrelated Sumo Group details (cf. WP:COATRACK). I intend to write a Sumo Group article but need to check whether it is notable yet.
